No personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no email collection, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs and no third-party tracking of any kind. All game data (progress, scores, settings) is stored locally on your device only.
The one exception — the leaderboard. If you post a score, the app sends two things to our leaderboard server: the display name you type in and your score. Nothing else — no account, no email address, no device identifier, no location, no contacts. Posting is your choice: if you don't post a score, nothing is transmitted at all. The in-game leaderboard and the website leaderboard both read from this same server-side list.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Leaderboard entries are stored on infrastructure we operate (Cloudflare Workers with key-value storage, acting as our hosting provider) and are public by design — the point of a leaderboard is that scores are visible to other players.
The app requests internet access for the leaderboard (and nothing else). It does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or files.
NZ Underground is a satirical crime-fiction trading game intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children and is not designed for the Play "Designed for Families" programme.
Entries consist of a self-chosen display name and a score. They remain on our server until they are replaced by a later score, removed by you, or removed at your request.
To have your entry removed, use the in-game remove/revoke option, or request deletion via our data deletion request page (or by emailing the address below) and we will delete it. We do not use leaderboard entries for any purpose other than displaying the leaderboard.
Purchases (where offered) are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Changes cannot affect data already stored on your device, but they may apply to the leaderboard and to future versions of the app.
